FAQ

We understand that as a parent, you have a busy schedule. In order to better accommodate you, we offer "make up" lessons. You are still charged for the lesson, but with proper notice, you can reschedule the missed lesson within a month of the absence. For example, if you miss a lesson on January 21st, you have until February 21st to reschedule the lesson. Please speak with our director for more details.

What happens if I won't be able to attend my lesson?

In order to qualify for the monthly discount of $2 per lesson, the payment for the full month is due on the date of the first lesson. Payments made after this date will not be eligible for the discount.

How do I receive the monthly discount?

Our tutors are a mix of individuals from varying backgrounds who have shown a desire for educating. We have both male and female tutors of various ages. Each tutor is trained extensively to satisfy each student's needs.

Is there a fee for missing a lesson?

We ask that you provide a two week notice of an absence. If you notify the director at least two weeks before an absence, you can reschedule your lesson with no added fee. If you are unable to provide us with two weeks notice, then you are subject to a $10 rescheduling fee. No exceptions!

In order to provide the best experience possible, we do allow for specific tutor requests. However, there may be days in which your tutor is out of the office for reasons out of his/ her control. In these instances, we will provide your student with a different tutor. Please note that we do not allow rescheduling of lessons due to a tutor's absence.

Can I request a particular tutor?

The only way to receive the monthly discount is to pay for the month's lessons in FULL on the first lesson of the month. If you choose to pay weekly or in another increments, you will not be eligible for any discounts.

Can I still schedule a make-up lesson without any notification?

No. When students miss a lesson and notification is not provided to the director, this is considered an unexcused lesson. Unexcused lessons are still charged to the account. As such, please provide the director with proper notification of absences so that we may accommodate you to the best of our abilities. 

I need to stop my student's lessons. Can I have my two lesson deposit refunded?

The two lesson deposit charged at registration is non-refundable. We do allow you to credit the deposit to your student's account. This will cover the last two lessons that your student attends.
